His work is characterized by empathy and self-acceptance, and he allows clients to experience a judgment-free and confidential space to express one’s thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Scott’s areas of expertise and empathy include working with children who have ADHD, OCD, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress.
Scott’s approach to counselling is to empower clients to focus on individual strengths, values, and on becoming an expert in one’s own life. He provides an eclectic approach to therapy to meet the client’s individual needs. He utilizes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centred Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
During his free time Scott enjoys cooking, playing and writing music, and spending time with his wife, Kara, and his daughter, Maisy.
